Loads of fun, perfect temperature 🌡 👌 😎. Parking gets a little rough after 2:00. So get there early. Cool to see all the airplane ✈️ taking off (right behind LAX). If you can stick around for the beach night 🌙 life. Some cool 😎 DJ, with light shows.

Beautiful and calm beach, my boyfriend and I spent about 3 hours here before heading to the airport.

We truly never wanted to leave, the sand is pristine, and the beach is clean.

It’s right next to the airport so we get to see planes take off which was cool. Although if you’re sensitive to sound you may want to find a beach further from the airport.

I appreciate all of the clean garbage cans so that trash didn’t end up littering the beach.

It’s not my favorite, but great for a quick beach experience. I’d go as far north at this beach as possible because the ambiance was better.
I came early on a Saturday morning and was able to get 2 hour street parking.
There were a lot tents on the beach with people just waking up. The bathroom were odd- like half of the door was missing and it looked pretty gross.
The bike path looked inviting though. Good place for wheeled sports.
It was nice to sit and watch some surfers, and you do hear planes flying overhead if you like that!

Kids and I love this beach – there is always plenty of parking and quick access to the beach, Cafe, showers and restrooms from the parking lot. Love the friendly distance to everything. So it makes it easy on me with my two little ones. They love the water and I love the breeze and watching the waves crashing and sunsets. The best part of this beach is that it’s never crowded.

This is my favorite Los Angeles area beach. It’s clean, well maintained, and easy to get to. There are 5 connected beachfront parking lots (I believe), more than any other beach I know of anyway. It’s $10 to park, well worth avoiding the headache of looking for parking at other beaches. I took these photos the first week of September during the crazy heatwave, and to my surprise this beach was relatively empty. There was a typical rush of folks coming in to watch the sunset, but no one playing bongos – LOL Venice! These photos taken with 16mm, and 70-200mm lenses.

Beautiful location with amazing beaches. Filled with volleyball nets up and down the beaches. You can play on any of them anytime. Plenty of areas to beach and play in the ocean. Parking can be tricky if you don’t get there and get a spot. But 2 hours is the typical amount for a parking meter. Lots of great food options in the area. The Strand path is amazing. This path extends all along the beaches from pier to pier. Bathrooms located throughout. Check out the houses along the path. Amazing and beautiful. Lots of creative builds.

This was really a nice place to go with the family. There’s a little aquarium exhibit on the pier and my daughter loved it! The water in the ocean was also such a great temp. The beach was fairly kept up too. Best of all they have washing stations! Perfect to de-sand yourself when it’s time to go. Also have bathrooms.

Beautiful pier with great views. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy. Restrooms were clean at the pier. Netball area is huge and clean. The water is a bit brown though at the time of our visit. Great shops around for shop and variety of food options too.

Probably my favorite place on earth! I just enjoy sitting on the beach and doing nothing. Restrooms are very close and there are lots of food options. I always have pleasant experience whenever I go there. Highly recommend. Great vibes and amazing sunsets!

Beautiful place and beautiful pier. Awesome pictures from underneath. Beautiful walkways bikeways and gigantic sand beach that goes on for miles. This place has so many volleyball nets they appear to go on forever there’s hundreds of them. Built in the 1800s this is an icon and they must see. 8 minutes from LAX airport A+

Beach ⛱️ time is always fun times. 😀 family 👪 had a great time at the beach. Perfect temperature 🌡 75°, very little wind. When you come to this beach, park across from #waterfrontbeachresort on Huntington st. Parking lot #9. They have installed this walking 🚶‍♀️ path from the bike lane to the water 💧. Was amazing not to have to struggle to get all of our beach gear to our set up spot.

It’s just beautiful there. The beach is clean, you can stay warm by a bonfire, enjoy a packed lunch/dinner and just sit back and relax. My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful relaxing and enjoyable time at the beach. You do have to search to find the bonfire pits. And some bathrooms are closed. But it was just a wonderful time. Can’t wait to go back.

Probably the best beach on the west coast! Stunning and jaw dropping sunset views here. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and you can walk lengths and not get tired cos of the beautiful views this part of LA has to offer! Will definitely return soon!

The beach is always great. My problem isn’t the incorrect information on the website.. 1st parking is $20.00 and you can reenter with the receipt.. Which is great. Secondly is the Berms – prior to going we were told that you could not use them because they are reserved. We got there only to find out that we could if no one had reserved them. Seems to me everyone knows this so no one reserves. They have port a potties there but real bathrooms at the next lot. The berms were great trash cans galore, easy in and out. Over all a great experience.

Long stretched out beach area on the Southern California coast with plenty of parking. Perfect location for a long day in the sun and surf. Bring all the usual beach gear and expect to engage in the usual beach activities. Can be quite crowded, but still very enjoyable. Less crowded beach, spring flowers are in full bloom at the time we went. Splendid views. There is a hill atop overlooking the beach. Restrooms available.

One of the most prettiest beaches I’ve been to in my life! Was neat, maintained and beautiful. It is a good place to watch surfers and have a cute date or picnic with friends and family. Sunsets are very gorgeous but be sure to go on a week day because on weekends it’s pretty packed, especially on holidays. There are nice coffee shops and other places to eat nearby.

This beach is clean and has bathroom . Also they have picnic table with grill make your day more enjoyable n relaxed . We went to beach Area which clean (no flies) . We had spend father day entire day here. Here I recommend to wear jacket or hoodies because of wind.

Recently visited “Half Moon Bay State Beach”

This area is clean, equipped for people having rest with tables and benches, barbecue etc.

NOTE: the water is cold! The wind is cold! It feels like it’s going through your body and soul!!! So, make sure you take extra wind-resisted clothes! The sand is warm though

We visited on Sunday and paid $10 for parking

I think I’ll be back again in much warmer outfit!

Less crowded beach, with lively people.

Nice place to spend time in the evening.

Cleanliness is a problem here and there.

Man, I just love this beach. It’s been my go- to for many many years. It’s easy to get to. It’s not very big and it’s not very crowded. It’s a popular place for surfing, which I enjoy watching. Sitting and hearing the waves crashing is great.

Nice out there! Pay parking everywhere I looked and, this weekend everything was completely packed because it was the day after christmas. Taco Bell parking lot you’re good for 30 minutes if you buy food that’s it. I might have bought a taco or burrito but that place was packed! Surfers were out there having a lot of fun, wish I could have joined them!

It didn’t wow me, but it would a surfer! Big time surfing area. I don’t think much for a hang out at the beach day if you want to swim or play beach volleyball. It was a busy area for sure where surfing occurs day and at night. Beautiful view though. And a very popular and swauve Taco Bell that serves drinks daily you can try.

Perfect spot for watching sunset. Make sure to check the webcams around the area before coming and ensure that weather is sunny and clear. Very clean and well maintained beach. Parking is $7 for 4 hours.

Perfect spot for picnic, my favorite beach to go to, relax & see sunset. Sand does get hot when temperature reaches above 70°, do have proper pair of shoes, beach blanket & shade. If you plan to stay after sunset do take extra pair of jacket it will get windy & cold.
There’s public Porta Potty, suggest do take your own toilet paper or needed toiletries, rather be safe then sorry.
