Hamas Announces Capture of General Nimrod Aloni, Israel Denies

The Hamas movement has announced the capture of 35 Israeli soldiers.

According to Albawaba,  Palestinian militants have captured a significant number of Israeli  troops since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by Hamas on Saturday,  marking the largest such event in a decade.

Palestinian sources report that he has been taken to the Gaza  Strip. The Israeli army has dismissed this information as false.

Hamas claims to have  captured Israeli Major General Nimrod Aloni, alongside other Israeli  soldiers.

Nimrod Aloni served  as the commander of the Gaza division until August of last year when he  assumed leadership of the Israeli special operations unit known as  "Deep Forces."

It is worth noting  that Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has  declared a state of emergency across Israel as hostilities continue.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel is currently in a state of war.
