In a surprising and peculiar sighting, the "Summertime Sadness" singer was captured in social media posts serving customers at Waffle House, donning a sky-blue uniform with "Lana" imprinted on her name tag.
Del Rey's fans enthusiastically took photos with her at the Waffle House in Florence, Ala., and one person recorded a video of the singer seemingly telling another worker,
"Oh, look at this guy. Oh God, Charlie, don’t film him without his permission."
A few days ago, Del Rey was captured on video and in photos autographing a fan's arm in permanent marker.
She jokingly advised the fan, "Don't ever do that," referring to people getting tattoos of her name.
In addition to her sightings at various places in Florence, Lana Del Rey was spotted dining at a pizza restaurant and staying at a local Marriott.
She was also seen in Birmingham, which is approximately a two-hour drive south.
The reason behind Lana Del Rey's time in Alabama and her stint at Waffle House remains unclear.
