Rapper Gillie Da King's Son Killed in Philly Shooting

The son of renowned local rapper turned podcaster Gillie Da King was tragically killed in a triple shooting in Philadelphia's Olney section on Thursday night, as confirmed by the police.

The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Mascher Street and Nedro Avenue.

Upon arrival, the police discovered two shooting victims approximately one block away.

Among them was 25-year-old Devin Spadey, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the back.

Both individuals were rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where Spadey was tragically pronounced dead.

Several witnesses at the scene informed the police that the 25-year-old victim was YNG Cheese, the son of Gillie Da King.

"Lil cuz usually when I talk to you, I got a lot to tell you. Tonight the pain in my heart & tears spoke to you. I love you beyond life cheese. I got your father, rest well,"

Gillie's cousin and podcast partner Wallo posted on Instagram.

The two other individuals injured in the shooting, aged 28 and 31, are both in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.

Authorities are actively investigating to identify the perpetrator(s) responsible for the shooting and determine the motive behind the incident.
